The module causes the boot-args to be saved and restored automatically on reboot. You may change this by using the nvram command or by updating the boot args in the boot console.

Hi meklort,

Please could you tell me what I need to edit to get rid of the verbose booting option?  What is 'the nvram command' ?

Thanks

Ahh I see.  Well that shows how little I know about Chameleon :).

Thanks for the information.   I'll have a look at what is causing the problem with the new Chameleon.  Its probably something of nothing :)

Hi John,

Thanks for the advice.  I have actually used Chameleon Wizard in the past.  My concern is that - when I used the pkg installer - it seemed to install fine - on the bootloader it did state it was 2.2, yet I KP.  I would assume Cham Wizard would give me the same result.

I need to try and understand what the changes are with 2.2 and what this modules addition does.  While I am not an expert in modding for hackintosh's - I do like to have a vague idea of what I am doing and what certain things do so that I can attempt to fix things myself :).

Thanks though!

Thanks for your reply.

So are you saying that plugging a USB2 hub into a USB3 port could be the problem?  I am almost certain that I have tried with the hub plugged into the USB2 port, but I will try again.  I am sure I have also tried running a USB cable from my Dell monitor to the USB2 port and using the monitor USB hub for the dongle.

I will try a few more things tomorrow.  I think its just a strange case of that particular dongle only wanting to work on the back ports of this motherboard.  I hope anyway :)

The keyboard isn't dropping connection any more with the dongle plugged in the back so I guess I can live with it.

Hi Kozlek,

Great update to the application.

Is there any chance you can include a way to also display the average load across all cores?  Thanks.
