In Topic: Acer5920G with Snow Leopard 10.6 retail built in keyboard problem

Nobody can help me with this issue?

Hi everybody,

I need your help to try to figure out how to solve my problem with the built in keyboard and track pad of my acer 5920g.
I've installed the snow leopard 10.6 retail version, trought a usb pen drive, everything work fine except keyboard and trackpad.

I was trying in the last 3 days all possible kext that i found on internet, i was reading all the post on this forum and in other forum as well. Many of this kexts just didn't run, i mean nothing change, and i am still using an external keyboard and mouse usb. Other kexts just cause kernel panic.

I really don't know what i can do, i'm newbie on hackintosh but i was able to solve the issue about sound, and power management, but about the ps2 built in keyboard i can't find any thing that run in a normal way.

I also figured it out that the acpi it's involved in this issue, but again i don't know how to modify it, just tried once and got kernel panic.

Somebody can please help me.

Thanks a lot.

Post the source code as well as the actual thing. That way more development can be made on this.

Also, just as a warning. You may get alot of people asking how to load it etc etc etc. You may want to make a little tutorial, which should save you time instead of having to answer questions over and over.

But thanks :) This is great progress! Hopefully soon, nForce will be fully supported, lol

So, what about Bootcamp or VMWare/Parallels with Windows? Sure, that's not the best solution but it might convince your family on the pros of a mac combining both sides, Windows and Mac All-In-One. So they still can use Windows Live and their Windows games, but still have the benefits of all that nicely designed Mac apps.

good idea :)
