Hallo....
Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen Leopard von der Kalyway 10.5.2 Install-DVD installiert und alles hat auch ganz gut geklappt. Kernel ist der 9.2.0 Sleepkernel. Anschließend habe ich noch das 10.5.3 Combo Update installiert, welches auch läuft. Um CI/QE zum Laufen zu bekommen hab ich die GFX-EFI Strings meiner 8800GT hinzugefügt.
Im Prinzip funktioniert auf meinem P5W so ziemlich alles, nur bin ich mit der Performance überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Das Dock hakt immer wieder - zwar nicht so schlimm, könnte aber geschmeidiger laufen. Vor allem aber in Photoshop ist die Performance sehr schlecht. Mein xBench-Score ist immer so um die 140.
Habt ihr noch eine Idee, woran die schlechte Performance liegt und wie man meinem System noch einen Speed-Boost geben könnte?

Kalyway 10.5.2: Dock performance is laggy

Hey guys!
It has been a long time since my last post, but now I got back into that OSx86 thing!
Yesterday I downloaded Kalyway Install DVD 10.5.2 and pretty much everything worked like a charm. I chose sleepkernel and NVInject 512MB for my 8800GT. Performance in OS X is not really bad but I suppose it could be much better. CI/QE is working great, except for the dock. When I minimize a window, it stutters. Dashboard and everything else is working flawlessly without any lag. My xbench score is 143 (without disk).
Do you guys know, what to do to get better performance? Should I try different gpu drivers? What else could I do to get a higher xbench score or to make the dock work as it should?
