Ten Commandments In The Courthouse

20 December 2007 - 12:36 AM

Discuss! (without rancor, I hope).

I think it's a bad idea. From my experience with... vociferous Christians (not having ever been preached to by a buddhist, muslim, jew or baha'i person, I can only use Christians as an example) I can only conclude that few actually know what the ten commandments are or what they mean. That's my position.

Why's it bad? Why's it good?

Church Shootings Today

Let me get this straight...

People who's life is devoted to teaching the heathens the way of Jesus can't be bothered to help people in need.

FairTax. Yay or Nay?

It looks good to me. I vote Yay!

Looking for love in all the _ places?

I got preemptively rejected in perpetuity the other day.
Let me explain what I mean.

When someone you've known for a day or two says to you, out of the blue, something like this "I just want you to know, but I will never date you."

Preemptively, because it was announced as a fact before any request or statement such as "Would you like to go on a date?" or "I'm in love with you."
In Perpetuity, because there is no room given for a possible change in mind.

Now, I can understand completely being rejected IF you make some sort of move, but before you've even thought of making a move?

Has this ever happened to you?

Is gasoline murder or only manslaughter? you decide.

If you don't understand what I mean, let's think about it. All over the world, men, women and children are being slaughtered for no better reason than to pump dead dinosaurs from the ground. If you use gas, you're complicit... but how complicit?
