Mountain Lion Constant Crashes, Detects USB if inserted and has HDD Activity

Hello everyone, I've been finishing up my mountain lion installation, I've got everything prepared to install after update to 10.8.2 but I keep getting random freezes where the screen is all frozen but the there's HDD activity showing on my case's HDD Activity LED and if I insert a USB Flash Drive it lights up and the HDD Activity LED also lights as well.

Please I need any help.
