Not a good idea to combine methods; x99 command disables Clover Patchconfig.plist shows the correct x99 patches.config.plist shows an incorrect ALC1150 patch; remove. The patch was not installed by audio_cloverALC-100.commandConfirm native S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext and BIOS/Audio Controller/Enabled.Run audio_cloverALC-100.commandIf no audio, see Problem Reporting, Post #1, Yosemite: Audio - Realtek ALC AppleHDANote: Post #237, minor updates for _v1.0.4 scriptsNo issue with the script.  Suggest links to the repos rather than a repo download.Patched/native AppleHDA: toleda/audio_RealtekALC, Download: audio_realtekALC-100.command or audio_realtekALC-100.command.zip Download: audio_alc_x99-hda-100_patch.command or audio_alc_x99-hda-100_patch.command.zip Clover/native AppleHDA: toleda/audio_CloverALC, Download: audio_cloverALC-100.command or audio_cloverALC-100.command.zip Download: config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist o...

The only board that I have tested that still needs a solution is the Asus x99 E-WS. I have tested your board and it worked fine for me and many other users. I agree with this statement. Up and running here since Bios F9e

Delete any realtek.kext in your clover/kext/10.10 folder Delete the AppleHDA in S/L/E and replace it with the one in this zip.Repair permissions using Disk UtilityRebuild cache using the included commandReplace the config.plist in clover with the included one.Reboot 100% working on my 5820k/X99-UD4 F9 BIOS with both 10.10 and 10.10.1If it still doesn't work [or if you installed Voodoo audio] reformat the entire OS and reinstall from scratch. Yes thank you! Finally it works like it should.!Pfffff what a hassle was this to get Audio working. Never had this much trouble but it works like a charm. I'm not sure what is wrong with Toleda's method but something is.Will let him know as I have tried both of your method's.Thanks again. Now I can and will Update to 10.01. No problem!Cheers! Wrong. Never use a boot loader to load or modify kexts as you never know when something can change. This is bad practice and should not be done. Kexts belong in SLE and LE  as per Apple Specification. That's a bit strange to hear from you Rampage Dev!The benefit of Clover is that you can have these patches and survive updates. I can tell you that I use this patch already since 10.8And if something changes in any kext than I would notice and make a fix for that. Until now Apple RTC and TRIM-patch has always work without any worries. With my X99 system I also have a clean install and all kext needed like FakeSMC, VoodooTCS  RTL are all in /EFI/kext/10.10Sorry I have to disagree for this one. I love your work and contribution that does not change. :-)

#2085041 Reboot at shutdown Z97M-DS3H Yosemite.

Posted by Edkroket on 14 November 2014 - 05:48 AM

Hi all, I have a very nice and fast working Hackintosh on Z97M-DS3H with i7 4790 and GTX 660.I have a patched DSDT and use Clover as bootloader. My problem is that it won't shut off. Instead it just reboots. I've tried all settings in Clover to get rid of it. Have tried different shutdown fixes in DSDT. Have used EvoReboot.kext and so on.I don't want to use Chameleon because Clover has more capabilities for me. Is any one facing this problem? If so did anyone has an fix? After 3 days of trying I'm about to give up and move over to Chameleon

fixed You don't need EmuVariable. To fix generic download the AHCIPortInjector.kext.zip in the first post. You also need to add GenericUSBXHCI.kext for USB 3.0 support. For audio you need to disable NewWay in Clover. (I've attached a copy of my working X99-UD4 clover config in the zip file below.aAYou'll probabaly want nullpower as well.  To get iMessage working type click MacPro 6,1 in the Clover Configurator Wizard and generate a new serial number, then mix it up a bit by changing production dates. Next type uuidgen in terminal twice for two different uuids. Put one under custom UUID and the other under SmUUID. Lastly take your serial number and add extra alphanumeric digits to reach 17 digits then use that for your board serial number.     Board: GA-X99-UD4 Bios: F9e Status: AUDIO WORKING! Files:  HDAenabler.kext used (from stinga11's link) AppleHDA.kext "pre script" installed into S/L/E (from onmybikedr...

#1766411 DSDT fixes for Gigabyte boards

Posted by Edkroket on 01 November 2011 - 10:43 AM

Hi MaLd0n I have a Z68XP-UD3 Rev. 1 Mobo. I have used your dtst.aml F6 file from the DSDT Database on Tonymac site. It works except when I wake from sleep I have to replug my keyboard to get in Lion again and have full wake. No matter what setting I use in Bios this issue remains. So I've been testing with a emtpy HD and did a fresh start. I tried bios F7 and F8 and created the DSDT myself by hand. They all work but waking from sleep is with all the same. I've worked for houres on it but can't get it to work as I am used to have it on other GB mobo's. Here are my Virgin dsdt's and edited as well. They are not finished yet for cosmetics and orange icon but the work.  DSDT_F6.zip 26.14KB 2 downloads it contains Kernel log after sleep, virgin dsdt and DSDT.aml  DSDT_F8.zip 25.82KB 15 downloads it contains Kernel log after sleep, virgin dsdt and DSDT.aml  Bios.zip 529.3KB 11 downloads here are my Bios settings My hardware: Z68XP-UD3 mobo, i7...
