dang, Im am having NO luck with this 5i version, I don't know what else I can do to get it working. Im on my 5th install today, and it never loads to the OS. I run darwin with the -v and have noticed a few things.

13AppleAHCIPort is not compatible with its superclass, 10IOAHCIPort superclass changed?

i've been trying the 5i version and is having some issues. I am trying to boot the DVD and it gets to the white/grey apple screen and loads something forever and will not boot fully. what can I do to get the DVD to boot?

Hey Guys! 1st post and I already love this place!

I just ordered a Vostro 1500 and came across this thread. I read the majority of this and had a quick question.

What version would allow me to run a USB or Firewire audio interface with Logic Pro?

Im seeing iATKOS 5i version, I think that installs 10.5.5? Would I still need to do the video/audio fixes? would power off / restart / sleep work (dont care about sleep really)? If the power options do not work because of the audio patch, can I just not install that and route the audio to the USB/firewire device.

Do I not even need to worry about any of that in 5i?
