#1915455 Instant Reboot with Dual Kepler Cards in 10.8.3

Posted maleorderbride on 16 May 2013 - 04:35 AM

You were absolutely correct that it was not the AppleHDA driver. Somehow, it is the freaking SATA cable. -.- It was just coincidence that it worked through the first few boots up until I installed the AppleHDA.

#1844622 TonyMacx86 and Mac Man Steal Again

I just spent a few minutes browsing your blog and bookmarked it. It looks very helpful. Thanks for your generous donation of time to this community ;) Back in March I had an X79 ASUS thread on Tonymac until I started to run into issues with admins. I ended up deleting the thread and removing all files that I edited. My edited kexts and ALC898 method ended up in ###### on the next release with no attribution. Granted they were easy for a real programmer probably, but took me 40 hours of reading guides and testing.

Even if in the Bios i have all Stata controller set to [AHCI] the 2 GSata ports (the 6gbs ones Gsata6 and Gsata7 on the manual) are found as IDE. I am on FF bios update. They work fine on osx but won't work if I link them to a SSD drive (Since it is AHCI only I sup...

10.7.3 without incident. Also, I switched to an AppleHDA.kext located made by our very own Toleda and hosted on TonyMac: http://tonymacx86.bl...or-onboard.html Sounds better to me and it aided me in my quest to get HDMI working on my build. Mostly working on my ASUS P9X79 Pro / 3930K @ 4.5GHz build ;p Everything but sleep so far! I'll make a thread for it once I get sleep working.
