I'm using trim enabler tool. i don't use any  boot flags with 1479 bios and I'm running ok

@ Redtigerxx i would try disconnecting  everything. but you OS X hd  and your install usb.  it maybe a hardwear  problem

just as things are for me. i was a kick start backer from the on set. and i was VERY P...ed off with how long it took to get my motherboardbut as Hackintosh  Builder for a few years THIS IS MY EASIEST BUILD TO DATEI have no connection with QUO I'm just saying as things have been for me. with the last bios update .i have HDMI working and updating is just as you would do on a mac.Becouse of this motherboard I'm getting lazy thats my problem

I've looked at the pic from the link and i think the card used is a 650GTX BY GIGABYTECould that be your problem

i just thought i would show the quo motherboard  water-cooledParts usedEK 120 rad. Heat killer version 3/4 inch.Targon tubing swifttec D5pump with EK.140mm combo top custom brackit  to mount pump six 19mm compression fittingsAll the water-cooling is fitted to a slide out motherboard tray so its easy to work on . got mine built over the weekend. using 5770 gigabyte graphics card had trouble with screen res but reinstalled ATISupport kext with kext wizard sorted it. sleep don't work rest seems ok Z77-MX-QUO-AOS - Core i7 3570K -Corsair Vengeance black 32GB - Ozmosis H3A.801 - OS X 10.8.4

i think thay are missing a few things in the new mac pro evolvementie were as the consumer friendly  upgrade ability gonelike easy ram upgrades or changing the graphics card to Nvidia so you could use cudai just think  should have been kept in the new mac pro
