J'ai bien l'impression que le dual-boot est lié à l'anomalie de boucle de boot immédiatement après la mise à jour 10.6.3. Avec le HF4, on aurait dû pouvoir passer de 10.6.2 à 10.6.3 sans pb mais ç'a été pas le cas. Avec le HF4 il s'agit pourtant du même Cham modifié par meklort que pour 10.6.3...

Il m'a fallu installer la même version de Cham manuellement par Terminal (fdisk - boot, boot0, boot1h) ce qui a tout réglé heureusement pour moi. Bizarre.

It's strange, I'm now using HF3 with 10.6.3 and dual boot between XP and SL. Everything work great
And the meklort Cham for 10.6.3 seem to don't work with my 311c....

I finally got 10.6.3 working very well, using HF3 (i will try HF4 this WE), any kernel flag and wake set as Yes or No boot.plist.
-> sleep work with standard boot without verbose.
My boot time is now about 50 seconds.

I also installed VoodooHDA and deleted AppleHDA. At the first boot i got KP: IOUSBfamily in cause, so I have unplugged all my usb devices and now, all is fine.

I would like first to thank all people working around the 311c for their great job

I'm using 10.6.2 since 2 month whithout any issues, and I tryed to jump to 10.6.3 following the LeMaurien19's guide.
But now, got some troubles.

The new files in EFI seem to don't work, when I power up my 311c, it loads Windows XP and don't show me Cham to choice my OS.
I booted from the projectCD (HF4) and setup again the 10.6.3 311 package without results.
So, i've look at the com.apple.boot.plist but it's seem good. I've also tried to swap the boot file in the root of EFI.
Finaly, using the the HF3 package, I repared the EFI.

Now, I have no sound ( with appleHDA from 10.6.2) but the 311c in booting faster than in 10.6.2.


I also want to try VoodooHDA. Is S/L/E the right place to put it? (i will use Kext Helper b7) or in EFI? No need to delete appleHDA?
