Hi, Im here with quite a simple question that is usually asked here but its my time:
I am about to buy a PC specifically to run Mac OS Lion (I bought the USB Installer from the Apple Store). This are the PC Components:
Hard disk: WESTERN DIGITAL 500 GB SATA WD5000AAKS/AAKX
Memory: DDR3 ADATA 12 GB 1333 MHZ
Mother board: GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R V2.0 6xDDR3 2xPCIE2 SOC 1366
Processor: Intel Core i7 930 2.8 GHZ SOC 1366
Video Card: XFX HD-685X-ZNFC HD6850 4GHz 1GB GDDR5 PCIE2.1
DVD Drive: LG GH22NS70 22X SUPERMULTIDRIVE SATA
For anyone asking, the price for this was: $1,235.4
So, my question is, someone knows if there is something that could go wrong with this computer? Im quite curios about the video card, I saw on the OSX86 wiki that it does work, but I found no information here in forum about that video card.
Also as graphics designer I require some punch power on video performance, but I consider my self an ignorant about nowadays video card power (I have been using a laptop for about 5 years, so no hardware customization was needed in that time). So If any one knows a better video card which also works with Lion I yet can make changes on the PC before buy it definitely.
So, any comments of any kind, are welcome.
