#2292688 CUDA SUPPORT in Sierra

Posted by @ROBASEFR on 04 October 2016 - 05:19 PM

editalso try cleaning your cache maybe you use the beta version of CUDA-Z before you installed CUDA 8.0.47 and since that version crashed, that probably created a problem that now the official version of CUDA-Z can't open now either even that you have CUDA 8.0.47 already installed you can use sierra cache cleaner free trial and use the option to clean the cache , use deep cleaning then try to run CUDA-Z official version again, don't use the latest beta.  It was indeed a cache problem ! Thanks  :thumbsup_anim:    CUDA-Z 0.10.251 is working now.  Capture d'écran 2016-10-04 19.18.39.png 127.23KB 5 downloads Capture d'écran 2016-10-04 19.18.25.png 100.96KB 6 downloads Capture d'écran 2016-10-04 19.18.13.png 102.09KB 4 downloads

What is the codec you choose?I remember GA-EX59-UD5 is 889 so I choose that then on the second prompt I choose 885. After that for the layout ID I only have 5, 7 or 9 to select.I tried with 7 and inject 1, it doesn't work, neither if Inject 7. Attached is my config.plist.I will be glad if you could check and compare with yours.GA EX58-UD5 has 889A audio codec wich=  885 ! Using the audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0.command from Toleda's latest audio_CloverALC-master.zipyou get this: (mount your EFI before ! ) the text in blue is what you enter, green is what's been installed ....AgreementThe audio_cloverALC-120 script is for personal use only. #2259060 Nvidia Web Driver updates for macOS Sierra (UPDATE 01/24/2017)

Posted by @ROBASEFR on 27 July 2016 - 07:37 PM

in nvidia website they say CUDA 7.50.3 is compatible with Sierra , anyway need to find a stand alone DP2 for that because in Applestore i only see DP3 Well all I can find on Nvidia website is this: New Release 7.5.30  •  CUDA driver update to support MAC OS X 10.11.5, macOS 10.12 Developer Preview and NVIDIA display driver 346.03.10f01 Recommended CUDA version(s):  •  CUDA 7.5 Supported MAC OS X  •  10.11.x  •  10.10.x  •  10.9.x The problem with this information is that the drivers working under macOS Sierra 10.12 DP3 orPB2 is 367.05.10.05b07and for OSX 10.11.6 the latest is 346.03.15f02 I tested the latest Cuda Z (CUDA-Z 0.11.259 SVN)  on my  Sierra PB2 with Cuda 7.5.30 Result: ~ $ /Applications/CUDA-Z.app/Contents/MacOS/CUDA-Z ; exit; Killed: 9 logout Saving session... ...copying shared history... ...saving history...truncating history files... ...compl...

#2257293 Nvidia Web Driver updates for macOS Sierra (UPDATE 01/24/2017)

Posted by @ROBASEFR on 24 July 2016 - 05:39 PM

Not sure but I think it's :sudo nvram -dBut I have to say that my 730 is supposed to be a Kepler. For an unknown reason, it never worked with OS X stock kexts in previous versions. Sierra fixed it but it doesn't necessarily mean that Maxwell support (i.e. for 750 Ti models) has been added…no sudo nvram -c  % nvram --help nvram: (usage: no such option as --) nvram [-x] [-p] [-f filename] [-d name] [-c] name[=value] ... -x use XML format for printing or reading variables (must appear before -p or -f) -p print all firmware variables -f set firmware variables from a text file -d delete the named variable -c delete all variables name=value set named variable name print variable Note that arguments and options are executed in order.
