for those who prefer staying on chameleon - its not possible with chameleon atm, but there is a detour. i installed vmware fusion - installed mavericks virtual machine - installed iWork, iLife, Aperture in the VM, after that links appeared in AppStore on hackintosh.I have done 2 installtions on the Dell780 1 with Chameleon and 1 with Clover after installing clover i was able to update iLife, iWork and aperture, i have also created a recovery disk and with clover the option in icoud find my mac works.Clover is doing more things than chameleon thats why i preffered Clover but with my 4K HDD i can't boot with clover only with a standard HDD with 160GB and 512 KB cache.First i have a boot 0 error and after sloving the boot 0 error i get a boot1 error with clover.

Hello i am at the moment busy with the install of Mavericks to make it 100% stable, i have found some issue's and i will also improve the performance of the Dell Optiplex 780 and 760.I am also testing some new kext files wich have been posted in this thread to see what they do extra outside the kext i have used in the install109.zip. The problems i have discovered with my kext files are.Volume adjust doesn't work (already have a new kext file that works, not in the install109.zip) Sleep/Wake up problem (No problems with the kext i delivered in the zip.) Update iWork, iLife and Aperture doesn't work message about appleID (fixed with clover) Boot1:error with Clover on a 4K HDD (trying to use Clover bootloader because the appleID error with updating iLife, iWork and Aperture)When all issue's are solved i will rewrite the tutorial and put the new files in the zip.

@Grim Reaper, "Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext" from Myhack should fix the Bios reset issue, keep us posted. @pepto, feel free to include whatever you want, in fact I`m so sorry we`ve hijacked your thread, didn`t mean to...I`m still investigating why my system would`t boot if it weren`t for a fixed "AppleACPIPlatform.kext"...I`m stumped, other than that, and maybe a more elaborate DSDT (sorry, almost forgot), our "OptiPlex" is very hackintoshable...let me know if you need anything else, I`d be more than pleased to help, and thank you so much for everything.Hello Lukin no problem that you hijacked my post, i love it that we all make progress with the optiplex 780.I wanna use all of your files which helped the sleep so i can use it in the install files.

Well, that's strange because it immediately worked perfectly when I booted with clover. Did you configured your serial number and stuff in config.plist? Do you have "Serial Number (processor tray)" line in "system profiler > hardware page" when you boot with clover, or just "Serial Number (system)"? I have used the Clover configurator to edit my config.plist, i use the setting iMac 9.1 for smbios and see that some fields in the configurator are not filled in about uuid and firmware but serial is filled in. I will check tonight in my config.plist of the serial is filled in.

8 GB USB GPT 1 HFS+ partition named untitled Install clover to ESP on the USB run in terminal: sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --no interaction(need to have install mavericks app in applications folder) boot   Note: Need to use HFSPlus.efi driver to boot, vbox driver won't work. Ok i have made a clover GPT USB Disk but what do you mean with "Install clover to ESP on the USB" What is a ESP may be it is a noob question but i am Dutch so i think i miss something. I have done some research for myself and i think i must create a EFI System Partition (Fat32) on my USB with disk utility and install clover to that partition am i right ?? The part with Mavericks.app i understand. And how can i boot from HFSPlus.efi driver instead of vbox

Install now runs through to completion but if I boot to usb after that, then select my macos hdd with -v -f it gets stuck at the bluetooth message again. I have tried with and without a graphics card, used -x, GraphicsEnabler=No but nothing can get past that point OK i have installed yesterday again and came with the same problem . I have fixed it i Will post the files tonight for you.
