[SOLVED]ALC888 for 10.8.3?
17 March 2013 - 01:08 AM
Anyone know of a good sound/HDA enabler for my ALC888? I've just installed 10.8.3, and while I did manage to make the audio work the bass feels dry when Elad Nava's fix was used.
"You shut down your computer because of a problem"
08 August 2012 - 11:47 AM
I seem to get this upon rebooting from Windows to ML. There doesn't seem to be any KPs logged or any other indication that I did an unclean shutdown, but this bugs me every time I reboot from Windows. I have Paragon HFS on my Windows install - could that be the problem?
EDIT: A similar problem was also reported on a legit Mac: https://discussions....191703?tstart=0

NTFS volumes read constantly on Tuxera
03 August 2012 - 06:36 AM
Title says all. Is it just me, or does Tuxera causes NTFS volumes to be constantly read for no apparent reason?
EDIT: Disabling Spotlight for the drives in question appeared to work, but can I have Spotlight index the drives without ending up with the thrashing?

PS/2 input support?
29 July 2012 - 01:28 PM
Does anyone know of a good way to enable PS/2 input support on Mountain Lion? My ML install mostly works (including the PS/2 keyboard), but the only one that doesn't is the mouse. I already have the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext and ApplePS2Controller.kext on the Extras folder, but for some reason I couldn't make my mouse work. I know some of you might suggest on buying a USB mouse, but I'd like to have legacy PS/2 support on my system just to make sure.
