Thanks. Booting to window solved the problem. If I ran OS X without the external connected, the trash was empty, it only was full (and full) with the external HD plugged in.
Ran Maintenace & Onyx afterwards to make sure all the crud was wiped away in OS X.

Hi, saw this thread is about same MB as mine. Maybe somebody can help.
I previously had Lion installed on my Hackintosh, using Kakewalk 4.01. See: http://www.insanelym...dpost&p=1734873 I had it on a partition with Windows, then erased Windows and that screwed up everything.
I have Snow Leopard working perfect on one HD and have an empty HD for Lion. I have tried to make a new Lion install USB, but Kakewalk keeps stopping after about 25 sec of install. Do you have any ides as to why? USB flash drive works, used it to install other OSs on my other computer.
My computer specs are in my signature. TIA
