Ati HD5450 and HDMI

02 July 2012 - 09:11 AM

Hi all!

I have Ati 5450 card, MSI R5450-MD512H/D2, I've managed to enable QE/CI with "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" and putting vendor/device id's into Info.plist in ATI5000Controller.kext / /ATIRadeonX3000.kext, everything works fine, but I can't enable HDMI port on this card. bdmesg from chimera (chimera v. 1.10) says:

TI Framebuffer Addr: @0xD0000000 MMIO Addr: @0xFBEE0000 I/O Port Addr: @0x0000D000 ROM Addr: @0xFBEC0000
ATI card POSTed, reading Video BIOS from legacy space
Card reported ports: 0
Framebuffer set to: <F3><EE> using device's default.
Number of ports set to: 0 using framebuffer's default.
ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series 512MB [1002:68f9] (subsys [1462:2173]) (Cedar:<F3><EE>) :: PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Is it even possible to enable HDMI output (I want to connect second monitor, but both monitors has only DVI inputs, and as card has DVI/VGA/HDMI - the only way to connect second monitor is to connect it via HDMI) on this card and if it possible - how can I do it?
