D-an-W, on , said:I don't know what you changed other than the SDK build but the frequencies and multipliers are now separated and are much easier to read so thank you! For me now to perfect things (and of course if at all possible) I would like Power/Battery renaming to CMOS Battery and System Fan #1 to just read System Fan but I have yet to figure out how to customise things or tinker on Github. Done. You can rename System Fan #1 in your motherboard profile in MotherboardSensors's info.plist.

D-an-W, on , said:Any tips on setting this up for my motherboard, a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P with iTE IT8718 controller. I have had a go at editing the info.plist but the section for the 8718 is empty and any attempt I made at editing a similar section just made that entry disappear from HWMonitor after Kext Utility and a reboot. I have a DarwinDumper report if that helps (Thanks blackosx) and also a couple of screenshots of the progress so far. I have loaded the following kexts in S/L/E CPUSensors.kext FakeSMC.kext GPUSensors.kext MotherboardSensors.kext If I add ACPISensors.kext it doesn't seem to make any difference to the readings. Thanks for any advice you folks can offer. I think your config should be the same as EP45-UD3R or EP45-DS3R, so add this line: If it'll be ok I'll add this section into project.

DarwinX, on , said:If by HWsensors you mean Kozlek's HWMonitor.app, then it is indeed compatible with our M1530's, short of the NSCPC8739x SuperIO chip support which is responsible for the Ambient, Memory, Motherboard and CPU Heatsink temperatures as well as the System Fan Speed. NSCPC8739x is in Slice's branch.

scorcho, on , said:Yes I do. Will future versions of your extension work best from S/L/E now? Everything works best from kernel cache. But if it also works well from E/E why not? I'll fix it in the next rev.

Gringo Vermelho, on , said:Ninjas are all around us, but you have to be Ninja yourself to detect their presence. I'm relaxed. Maybe I would be upset if Kozlek had made it a "Hitler timer". As a moderator supervisor I cannot allow any objections towards the word Ninja or Ninjas in general, nor other personal and largely inoffensive decisions made by developers of code that we all depend on. Now let's get back to the topic at hand. To be clear - SMC key "NATJ" is the abbreviation of "Ninja Action Timer Job". It's Apple's name for some sort of SMC timer etc. I tried to see if OS X still using it for some reason or not.

Sorry guys, I don't go to use your dumps to get voltage values for you. It's all up to you. The method described in post #264, you could see the first post there is link on it. If you'll send me voltage gains I'll add it into database. It's going to be a hard work for me to handle all requests.

Mohamed Khairy, on , said:ok thanks kozlek here what do you want full acpi dump from windows ACPI Tables.zip if it will work you can make a guide line for acpisensors or if i understood what we must do for that will try write this guide line thanks very much :) Misfortune, sorry. I don't found any useful ACPI code in your tables. There is temperatures and fans and powers names in one of SSDTs but it doesn't contains any registers to read values from. AIDA report txt also contains nothing. Only sensors I can see is on your AIDA screenshot. But I don't know what is DELL SMI and how to get access to it.
