Not sûre thati is relation to clover?
Anyway tomorow Installer Will be upgrade to the latest cloverIssue maybe from the 1st GM beta update... anyway since I will wipe that install, I decided to try upgrade Clover to 3277 and working fine with default install settings.
Hope I am not out of line here but..... You can still use the last version. Just temporarily re-name the Install OS X El Capitan to Install OS X El Capitan GM then run the app to make installer USB. I just tested and works fine. Also you can use Chris's Universal OS X Installer app or even the His Clover app (but install your boot loader part). Many Thanks for your work Chris.
Guys the issue I mentioned earlier after 10.11.1 update is back (see pictures)... only goes away when I run kext utility and reboot (or is this a random issue of running Clover in Legacy?). Ran all day yesterday with many reboots without it happening, but since my computer was shut down, today when I choose to boot to El Cap, it is back. I tested this new version and it works... but at 1st try I get black screen. Then I inject device-properties for my Video Card in org.chameleon.Boot.plist (like I use with Yosemite) and I can boot the installer properly. Since switching to Clover (Chris's Clover installer... I use Legacy) for 1st time and El Capitan, I will stick with that. But nice to still have the Chameleon option. Great work and thank you Chris for all the time you spend on this.
It's that damn old graphics card again, always embarrassing me  Sorry, being new to Clover I should have checked that file. Anyway many thanks Chris for now your app and installer works! I have to learn about clover setup... everything looks OOB atm except patch AppleHDA and my network kext. Attached Files DSC_2987.JPG 261.09KB 8 downloads
If your like me, you don't want Windows Update running all the time. This is how to disable Windows Update in Windows 10: 1. Right click Start and select Run. Then type 'services.msc'2. Scroll down in services and find the Windows Update service.3. Right Click then open 'Properties'4. Set 'Start Up' type to 'disabled'5. Click “Stop” the Service button.6. Click Apply or OK button. DONE! If you try to use windows update it will give you an error. Thanks to LabibKhan (@ answers.microsoft.com) * I edit it a bit for more clarity.
mnfesq, I can't boot into that OS atm (See attached photo). Is it a good idea to try and reinstall just the DP4 update from my Yosemite drive? Update: I have recovered back to DP3 by rebooting via thumb drive installer. After which I checked software updates (app store) and re DP2 & DP3 w/o re-downloading. Just for info if it helps anyone here. If you have a similar video card (8800GT) and get a black screen with booting the installer or Yosemite (in my case, only for the installer on my thumb drive), removing the following kext worked for me. Same trick in Mavericks. AppleTyMCEDriver.kextAppleUpstreamUserClient.kextApplePolicyControl.kext ( found in… System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext) I Also removed any GeForce Tesla or NVD Tesla kext.
just to update and thank people in this thread for their time and help, the issue i had (not getting as far as the installer screen) was drivers.... solved here thanks to Rampage Dev. I probably have more to solve but making progress finally.
updated fine... only broke audio.
Replaced AppleHDA.kext. Restart/repair permissions, delete com.apple.kext.caches folder (I always forget to delete that) restart. Audio working.
Update: I'm getting KP's on initial boot up... dose not happen every time and after a hard shutdown and re-boot it's fine. Will try and take a picture next time it happens.
