Mirone,

I am trying to use the app in patching 10.10.1 for ADI1988B. The script download (link from 1st post which contains layout4, platforms, and hdaconfig.text) dose not work for me. In system profiler, I see my Layout id is 7 and not 4. Do I just need to change layout # in the hdaconfig.txt, or will I need a new file? if so where dose one get the info to create the hdaconfig.txt?

I have a patched DSDT.aml and 10.10 applehda.kext (v266.5) you provided me in the other thread which I am currently using, but I would like to be able learn and use this little app to patch the kext, so I don't have to ask for future updates.

dose this patcher work for ADI1988B? I don't see it in patch-hda-codecs.pl

Uninstalled web drivers, installed the 10.10.1 update from dl package.

Roll back AppleHDA and install new Nvidia drivers... Update OK here.

I get these errors on my real macbook pro so not a hack specific issue. Whether that means it doesn't have an impact or not, i can't say.

Yes, I have seen a few discussions on apple forums regarding similar lines w/real mac's. Also the numbers vary... since posting this (I had Yosemite on test drive) now I have Yosemite on main HD and the numbers change. Seeing 174/175/181/182 and it seems random but usually only a pair at a time.

Try to disable kernel cache in your boot plist

Probably your bootloader can't load the kernel cache

Thanks, I tried it but no change.

Things I have noticed on fresh install:

They did not appear after a fresh install. This includes booting via chameleon partition that has a DSDT and some extensions. And only other fix AppleHDA (otherwise vanilla).

Maybe something added later.

And although they show up 98% of the time, I had booted a few times yesterday where they did not.

This is similar and interesting that I ran into: http://www.insanelym...che-question-f/
