set the jumper and go to bios > advanced > DH feature page and and enable "EZ Backup Raid Mode Change".

if isn´t recognized after that you have a hardware malfunction.
in my specs you could see that I´m using two WD drives. before they worked flawless with the ez backup raid.






Done that, repeatedly.  Must be a hardware problem.

you have to set the jumper on the mainboard correctly - read the manual :police:



jumpers are set correctly. My disk's are recognized by this controller in either windows or os x, they are however recognized by the Jmicron and Intel Controlers. Maybe the Silicon Image controller doesn't like WD Hard Drivers.
