Hi Majonez,

good work, thanks.

I do have 16GB 2800 MHz DDR4, but it shows 16GB 3200 MHz DDR4.

Any idea?

Frequency detection is not supported yet, I think it is just a cosmetic thing.

I just patched the size detection, which is essential to the system.

This my CPU Info. Thanks before Majonez :)

I think, it will work.

@giacomoleopardo No, I'm using the latest stock "Z170XGaming3.f5d":

About USB: I'm using the FakePCIID.kext and the FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext. My ports are working, but I can't test them with USB3 device.

@hashish.k I see that you have a different motherboard (Z170X-UD5). You should patch your DSDT too, and do not use my DSDT to your sys, because it can cause hangs and craches.

FakeSMCKeyStore : started

Like the officila 6.18.1394, can you check it again Majonez?

Download this app, to get your model number:

and run this command in the terminal to get your family id:

sysctl hw.cpufamily

After these steps, report the infos for me, and I will can compile a working kext for you.

Does Skylake's integrated graphics work fully on your setup?

I can boot up with both enabled Radeon 5850 and integated Intel 7000 chip, but I didn't find a correct framebuffer data yet. My display get signal from the intel chip, but the rotation not works and I get other bugs.

Maybe the intel graphics driver. Try to delete the related kexts.

Do you see any backtrace, before your pc restarts?
