I'm noticing the major problematic kext here is AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext , leaving all original kexts intact and removing that one causes the internal VGA to load but it's a mess of a screen, lines all over the place, unreadable by the human eye.

If someone wants to decompile the binary and send it over I'll be glad to attempt to tamper with it. It seems like that's really the only hope here, loading NVIDIA kexts isn't going to get us QE/CI, which I'm sure is what we all want aside from the resolutions.

Yes dear oki270. All your words are so correct that none of the 5700 users will accept the truth once they find out the realities. I will give everybody the reverse-engineered C files of the 3 kexts we mentioned above. One will see that the codes are totally HOPELESS after checking them...

Inspite of the facts, yes, I am personally sticking to it, and keep my EP121 from being sold... (But I am almost reaching the red-lines!!)

How exactly did you decompile these?

I have a EP121 as well and currently have QE/CI enabled on Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

I have an idea of how to get it ported and working for Lion, but it's going to take some time. I also code for a living, so coding might be an option if someone points me in the right direction. Basically we need to get QE/CI working on a computer with Intel HD Graphics (which I currently have on SL), decompile the working drivers there to see what's going on, then attempt to inject/patch the newer extensions with that old method. May be doable may not be.

i'm using lion 10.7.3 in lion when i install intelhdgraphics i get lines all over and i can't see anything so i was using the Geforce with intel idea instead of nvidia. so today i used intelhdgraphics and intelhdgraphicsga from mountain lion and i was surprised no lines and it gives acceleration. but the problem was when you drag or slid any window the lines come in and you can't see anything. so i solved that by removing intelhdgraphicsga.kext. i think there is a hope in mountain lion, also i noticed that they don't have opengl plugin i don't know why. but so far i'm still failing to load the intelhdgraphicsfb. it needs some work but its not impossible as some people said or gave up. because i used to get transparent menu bar in snow leopard. hope some one work on these kexts.

Mind sharing these kexts?
