GTX580 with GraphicsEnabler=No

19 July 2012 - 07:53 PM

Ok so a little about my machine.

Its a

Asus

P8Z68-V Pro with 6GB Gskill

ddr3

-1866 Ram and a 2600K chip overclocked to 4.0.

I am running a

corsair

Force GT SSD for storage.

Everything is running great on mountain lion. Sleep, sound, graphics, restart, speedstep.

My question is has anyone ever been able to get Mountain lion to boot a GTX580 video card with the Graphicsenabler flag set to No.

Every time I do this both screens go black and go into power save mode. The machine seems to be booted up properly but I cannot see anything.

I go back and turn the graphics enabler back on and it works.

Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I accidentally double posted this question sorry about that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated on the above question.
