Thanks for that. I hope this will fix all issues otherwise I probably stay at 10.6.7 forever.

Maybe Nawcom adds these fixes to his package - that would be great.

I don't want to update the AMD to Lion so I could probably pass 10.6.8.

configd keeps crashing, system is very slow and unresponsive, drives don't mount automatically, wifi is disabled, boot takes longer, ...

Horrible update for my AMD. Nawcoms v2 package and Chameleon RC5 r10xx didn't help either.

Will this be fixed and is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Did you checked Nawcom's blog?... maybe you can get a clue from there.

Yes I posted there too, but as Nawcom is taking a break I don't think I get a solution. Everyone is heading for Lion - which is good but some AMD machines better stay on Snow Leopard so I am missing a solution.

The problem is obviously that 10.6.8 has a lot of components of Lion integrated.

Dear JBraddock, do you have any idea what this npci value does to the kernel? You also seem to have an NVidia basic graphics adapter... Any idea where to start looking for this npci thing? Could it be related to a memory address of our graphics card?

It's 2 bytes long... Perhaps boot without it first, and then open up IORegistryExplorer and in our GFX0 section (which I inject via DSDT method) find and our own value for npci?

Really, anyone?

I don't know what it does but I can say it doesn't work for me. It still stucks at PCI beginning... along with the other issues if I manage to boot. (see some posts earlier)

Sorry, i forgot you guys need to be logged in to see the link... so much for the intention :(

Your problem can't be solved with Chameleon. Did you updated the kernel?
