#2098333 Clover cannot boot without NullCPUManagement

Posted by Maniac10 on Today, 01:35 AM

That looks like a graphics PM issue to me. Can you access the system via remote desktop? If that's the problem, then it's triggered by AppleGraphicsPowerManagement because on a MacBookPro8,1 it expects an Intel HD3000. Try changing the model to a MacBookPro8,2 or 8,3 which comes with a 6750M + HD 3000. You may need to set your integrated graphics to "always enabled" or something like that in the BIOS for it to work, but try without it at first.Alternatively you can inject the correct power management data for your graphics in AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext/Contents/Info.plist or use the GenericAGPM.kext.And if you want an easy "solution" (not a good one), you could try deleting or disabling the kext, but I'm not sure that'll work.

#2095109 4790k y SSDT

Posted by Maniac10 on 14 December 2014 - 07:36 PM

#2094639 HWMonitor.app wants to connect to Paypalobjects.com

Posted by Maniac10 on 13 December 2014 - 01:48 AM

I believe HWMonitor shows a Paypal button in the update popup and it's been updated recently a couple of times, so that would explain the connection to Paypal. And if you want to make sure the app hasn't been tampered with just get it directly from the developer instead. On 12/12/2014, HWMonitor tried to establish a connection to www.paypalobjects.com on port 443 (https). The request was allowed via connection alert. And AFAIK nothing is being uploaded, the only connections it stablished were to paypalobjects.com for the button and hwsensors.com for updates.

#2093046 Clover How to Changed Graphics Crad Name

There's no direct way to do so with Clover, but it can inject custom code with AddProperties which should give you what you want with something like this:<key>AddProperties</key><array> <dict> <key>Device</key> <string>NVidia</string> <key>Key</key> <string>model</string> <key>Value</key> <string>intended name</string> </dict></array>I'm not sure but I believe it requires the AddDTGP and FixDisplay DSDT Fixes as well.

The only Mac model that uses a processor tray is the Mac Pro, the rest obviously don't have such a thing.

#2090387 Modify Clover boot loader meny

Posted by Maniac10 on 29 November 2014 - 05:14 PM

As suggested by yehia Amer, you should try Clover Configurator to build your own boot menu. Here's the resulting GUI section of the plist after a minute in CC:<key>GUI</key><dict> <key>Custom</key> <dict> <key>Entries</key> <array> <dict> <key>FullTitle</key> <string>Mavericks</string> <key>Type</key> <string>OSX</string> <key>Volume</key> <string>HD(2,GPT,A7FE9DC0-CF81-41C4-8DF1-868BFA994733,0x64028,0x5D21DC0)</string> </dict> <dict> <key>FullTitle</key> <string>Yosemite</string> <key>Type</key> <string>OSX</string> <key>Volume</key> <string...

#2089839 Arrancar (Boot) desde Raid0

Posted by Maniac10 on 27 November 2014 - 04:42 PM

Posted by Maniac10 on 22 November 2014 - 11:16 PM

#2088146 Patched AppleUSBXHCI from OS 10.8.2

Posted by Maniac10 on 21 November 2014 - 09:57 PM

You need to convert the hex data posted by shiecldk to base64 (here's an online converter). If you use PlistEditPro you don't even have to do that, just input the "data" posted by shiecldk and it will handle the conversion itself. <key>KernelAndKextPatches</key><dict> <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Disable XHCI 1.0 check</string> <key>Find</key> <data> QbzHAgDgPQABAAA= </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleUSBXHCI</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> QbzHAgDgPQAAAAA= </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>Enable PCI power management</string> <key>Find</key> <data> dU1Ii7voAQAA </data> <key>Name</key> <string...

#2083730 Radeon R9 270X framebuffer issue

Posted by Maniac10 on 10 November 2014 - 05:36 PM

my opinionThere are video cards from different manufacturers that need patching, others do not need them. A list with specific models, problems and solution would be very useful for those looking into buying one (like me :D). I know about the wiki but people just don't use it, there's very little info there, not even one R9 model reported for Yosemite.

Ok, here it goes... This is an MBR Windows (hence no bootmgfw.efi), so to change the name you need to create a Custom Legacy entry, but you're also hiding it by its path so delete it from GUI/Hide first:0:112 0:000 Hiding entries with string Fill the guid here <—— this one does nothing, replace with the actual GUID you want to hide0:112 0:000 Hiding entries with string HD(1,MBR,0x368FA560,0x800,0x12A18000) <—— this hides your windows partition, delete it0:113 0:000 Hiding entries with string Recovery HDSo, considering this is your Windows partition:1:958  0:000  14. #2079832 Kernel Panic.. solo despues de reiniciar o apagar..?

Posted by Maniac10 on 02 November 2014 - 01:16 AM
