I'm sorry for the reply on this old thread but i want to ask the same question as the user Clavit 2000.
What do you think : is there a difference between  32 inch lcd TV as monitor, and  27 inch lcd monitor ? I'm talking about the fonts quality, only. I would consider to purchase even a 30 inch lcd monitor if the fonts quality would be better.
What would you suggest ?

Where do i add all those commands ?
So, i insert de DVD ML, right ? F8 ...then -s
Then i see alot of letters, numbers...and then its stuck , i cant use my keyboard at all.

ACPI system state S0 S3 S4 S5 ( S3 )

I was able to install it, but after first reboot, kernel panic.
Could you tell me, please, what causes the kernel panic ?
