Hi, I need to install OSX on a Thinkpad T510: http://www.thinkwiki...i/Category:T510 It has a Intel® Core™ i5 processor i5-520M (2.40 GHz) with dual core, Intel HD Graphics, ThinkPad 11b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter II (Realtek RTL8192SE / RTL8188CE), etc. I worked through a lot of general OSX El Capitan install tutorials but I never got to the install stage (with all kinds of errors). Is it impossible to install 10.11 on my T510? Can somebody help me? Maybe with a minimal tutorial (just a config.plist and a kext-archive). Then I create the USB stick, replace the Clover config.plist and copy the kexts to Clover's 10.11 kext folder. Cheers,sb https://www.reddit.c...d_t510_4313cto/ Above is link to active conversation for El Cap on the T510.  I'm running it fairly successfully right now as a matter of fact.

It took a lot of effort from many threads across many sites...Working T410 on 10.9.2.Model #2516-DCU 2.66Ghz Core i5Intel GPU w/ QE/CI (no nvidia optimus in this laptop)Dell WiFi DW1510 - replaced stock lenovo cardBIOS 1.45 w/ wifi whitelist8GB DDR3 Modded DSDT to enable backlight and proper battery status.backlight controls ScrLk / Pause (down/up) This should get you up and going on 10.9.2. untested:SleepCard ReaderVGAeSATADisplayPortLAN - Appears to work with AppleIntelE1000e.kext (haven't tried it w/ a cable yet) DVD Player errors out (valid DVD drive could not be found) - haven't looked into this yet. DUDE!  You are the man.  I had given up on Mavericks on this T510.  I knew it was something simple though, whatever you had in your DSDT and/or those kexts finally did the trick.  I've been messing around with framebuffers, video kexts, and all kinds of stuff, but I threw your extensions in S/L/E and E/E and all is well.  ...
