#2037770 iMessage & Facetime is not working

Posted by nyolc8 on 07 July 2014 - 07:40 PM

so what you actually need is mlb and mac address ethernet (off course ethernet must be en 0) fromregistered device or hardware on apple server, try this and i hope it will solve your iMessage login issue, except for amd machine, i don't know how it works if you're using clover, make sure you have EmuVariableUefi-64.efi in drivers64UEFI's folder 1. open clover configurator  2. goto Rt Variables section, put MLB value = C02K7438DRVCN1S5A and ROM value = UEZdNpmp 3. goto SMBIOS section, put SmUUID value = 9DFF0000-3C12-0539-FFFF-50465D3699A9 4. and then reboot if you're using chameleon, make sure you have nvram-smuuid.plist (example on my notebook is nvram.9dff0000-3c12-0539-ffff-50465d3699a9.plist) in Extra's folder, if you don't have, try to find working nvram module for your hardware (currently i'm using nvram.lib 1.1.3 and chameleon 2377) 1. open terminal 2. sudo nvram 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:MLB=C02K7438DRVCN1S5A 3. sudo nvram 4D1EDE05-...

#2033083 can we get back the apple logo on boot?

Posted by nyolc8 on 22 June 2014 - 01:20 PM

Look into a real mac's ioreg under the display port ("<framebuffername>,@0"), you will find some values called AAPL,grey-page and AAPL,grey-color (or something like that). If you start osx with clover, the grey-color is 00,00,00,00 in ioreg. The zeros means black... So.... maybe this is why we get black screen at boot? I tried to inject proper grey value into there via DSDT but nohing changed, it doesn't got saved in ioreg. Any idea how to change that?

Like a charm > needed AppleHDA and Trim patch again only. Charm.jpgI'm not on osx now, but is that big Yosemite text was there in the about this mac window?  edit: nope, that text is new in this update.

I always been a chameleon user, but now I installed yosemite with clover and now I don't know if I should go back to chameleon or use clover from now... If I put extra kexts into Extra/Extensions/ then they are loading up along with the "kernelcache-d" kexts? Or how is this working? I never really understood this, I always put my extra kexts into S/L/E/ and they built into the kernelcache.

But then you restart and the yosemite partition hidden again. *** I managed to fix nvram saving by this: 1. in Terminal: sudo nano /etc/save.nvramCreate an empty save.nvram file in the /etc folder. 2. in Nano editor I filled the save.nvram file with these commands:#!/bin/bashnvram -x -p > "/nvram.plist"if [[ -f "/nvram.plist" ]]; then chflags hidden "/nvram.plist"fiThis is the save.nvram file content. It's just make an nvram.plist file in the root of the OS partition and makes the file hidden. 3. save it.Press Ctrl + X to save, then press Enter/Return to confirm the file name. 4. in Terminal: sudo chmod +x /etc/save.nvramThis makes the file executable. 5. in Terminal: sudo defaults write com.apple.loginwindow LogoutHook /etc/save.nvramThis writes the newly created command file into loginwindow's LogoutHook. This means our script will run on each logout. So the nvram getting saved on each logout, restart, and shutdown. 6. Done.Clove...

Gz! btw. the OS itself looks so strange... :D edit: it looks like the build on the wwdc was a newer build, because it had a new example file in the downloads stack on the dock. Also the menubar shadow is much smoother in that build.

#2004611 Mavericks 10.9.2 released

Posted by nyolc8 on 16 March 2014 - 11:21 AM

Changed built-in to 0x00, checked in IORegistryExplorer to make sure I got built-in values 0x00, but FaceTime just drops me back to login page without error message after I selected my email which is the "call-able" email. iMessage says what is said always (this apple id is can't be used this time blah blah...), but I don't really care iMessage, I only care FaceTime. edit: now it started to give an error message, but nothing specific, just a non-informative error message. edit2: okay so if I alter my filenvram "4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM" value, it gives an error message. If I leave it as it was by default, then no error message. But it drops me back to login page regardless if I modify ROM or not. edit3: SOLVED! Logged in to FaceTime! Went to terminal and I just empty this field in nvram: "4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM" by typing "sudo nvram 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14:ROM=" and pressed enter. FaceTime immediately logged in...

no problem upgrading from 1091 and 1092   Have you tried to delete your system configuration file for your network (*etwork* plist files on /Library/Preference/SystemConfiguration) and remove network from the system preferences, restart and tried logging in again.   btw no problem with me on facetime, app store and icloud after 1092 upgrade.I made a full clean reinstall then updated to 10.9.2 so it should be ok, but I'll try to delete it.     Killed all what worked before: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, AppStore, audio (doesn't load AppleHDA)For me, AppStore, iCloud, Find My Mac, etc works. iMessage(which is never worked), and Facetime fails to log in. They definitely made something with the authenticate processes.

Check spaces (" ") if "blank" entry (as described before). As reference use dmidecode because it's independent tool.Where should I check for spaces? In smbios.plist? Because I don't have (and never had but I got the "not specified") any SMcpupartnumber line there. Should I make one there? Also how can I get my original smbios? I can't find any app for Windows to do an smbios dump properly. edit: I just saw Gringo's #2026 post, I'll put that line into smbios.plist and report back. edit 2: adding SMcpupartnumber into smbios.plist fixed the empty part number line problem.
