So.... are there any 8000 & 9000 Nvidia cards that are NOT affected by this issue?

Thus far I've seen the problem reported with 8600GTs, 8800GTs, 9500GTs, 9600GTs, 9800GT/GTX/GTX+, GTS 250 & 9800GX2s.

I've yet to test on my other 9600GSO based build, but I'd assume it has the same issue since it shares a core with the 8800/9800GT

I have the exact same problem with the Gainward GTX 295

Hi guys,

I have Asus P6T Deluxe V2, Core I7 920, Gainward GTX 295 but I cannot start the SL Installation.
I'm using a flash drive, copied the ATY 295 fix to the /Extra/Extenstions but I get Kernel Panic after I boot from Chameleon. I even moved the card to the second PCIE slot but still the same. I disabled GraphicsEnabler, tried arch=i386 but still nothing.

Can anybody help me start this installation? Thanks.

Nevermind, I had to remove the drivers that came with the original disk and the installation started.
After installing (first reboot) I got another KP, started the installation, deleted the NVidia drivers from /S/L/E on my hdd and it worked.

I cannot install the GTX295 though..

Hi,

Thanks for the guide and for the help I see you're offering.
I had a Macbook Pro but the motherboard fried and now I'm desperately trying to install Mac OS X on my PC in order to be able to work.

I've followed your guide, prepared the stick, but after few seconds after I boot from it, the monitor goes into power saving mode, and that's it.

I have Asus P6T Deluxe V2,
Core I7 920
GTX 295

Do you have any idea what's happening?

Thanks
