Console full of AppleHDA logs

Everything seems to be working ok, but my console logs are getting filled with the following two lines:


10/2/12 7:01:16.000 AM kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 730
10/2/12 7:01:21.000 AM kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 5165

Both of those pop up about every 5-6 seconds. Should I be concerned about it?

Modifier keys only change on one side of keyboard

I've had 10.8 installed for a few days and I noticed that the modifier keys (alt, win, ctrl) ont he right side of my keyboard don't change when I remap them in the Keyboard section of System Preferences. The left set of modifier keys change so ctrl=cmd, but on the right set both win and ctrl are control and neither are CMD like I have it set.

What could be causing this?

I *cannot* get my 8600gt working

I just installed 10.6.3 with the newest version of chameleon. I have an xfx 8600gt 256mb card and I can't get it to go over 1024x768. Graphics enabler does nothing, I've created efi strings that did nothing, i've tried a slew of kexts that did nothing.

What should I be trying next?
