From reading a lot. There's lots and lots of information around the OSX scene forums about DSDT editing.
DSDTSE comes with a few code examples too.

Try searching and see if someone with the same motherboard as you are working on their DSDT.

About the other questions, no idea, sorry.

Thanks for the help

No, that is not correct.

You can use DSDTSE to edit your DSDT:

How do I know what to edit?

Is there a good guide to install SL on my gma950 / Intel core solo? I am not a total noob but do need a bit of help

I am running kalyway 10.5.4 right now.

Do not use other people's DSDT, it is particular to the motherboard, BIOS version, amount of RAM and installed CPU.

You need to extract your own and patch it (google, or use the forum search).

You can, however, use other peoples DSDT for inspiration but you should always try to edit the existing code in yours (as far as possible) rather than replace it with someone elses.

Thanks for the infoZ! I have the tool to patch my DSDT but get permission denied for some reason. Yes I enter the correct password. I saw there is somthing new out for chameleon where you don't need to hack DSDT..... is that correct???
If so how do I use that as it may be easier ?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Got it working finally, needed a 950GMA EFI string (which worked)

Glad to see you got it working :) I am really hoping you can help me get mine working as we have all most the same hardware. My specs:
GMA 950
Intel core solo

I was away from the hackintosh sites for a while and I am a bit behind to say the least. Could you please tell me how you got SL to work... PLEASE  I would be VERY grateful to you.

The part I am really lost on is DSDT. Would you mind sharing yours??? That would be a big help, thanks in advance!
