Evening Folks,

hope all is well in the hackintosh world....

ok to update this issue...

done a fresh install with this method:


[Guide] The all-in-one guide to Vanilla OS X Mountain Lion + Chameleon + DSDT for beginners.


then after install used ##### and installed:

alc888 with dsdt - legacy

and all inputs outputs show but no sound again :(

im at my wits end....

please someone put me out of my misery.

attached is screenshots, kext and dsdt.aml

Ok i tried patching the kext with:

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
<string>0x293e8086</string>

0xDeviceIdVendorId

and i get inputs/outputs but no audio :(

i have attached my dsdt, kext, and screenshots of how its sitting at the moment...

any help would be graciously appreciated...

installed and can see volume in outs in mixer but no audio is working...

tried looking for the solution in that link but couldnt quite get it

any ideas what i should try next?
