Unigine Valley (Highend OpenGL) Benchmark
15 February 2013 - 10:01 PM
http://unigine.com/products/valley/
I have not tested already but for sure interesting, like new Heaven (4.0) Benchmark.
To ALL: Please submit at LEAST once the PRESET BASIC result! (AMD GPUS if problems, preset BASIC without AA).
Otherwise your results cant be compared to others - and if someone wants to compare he has to run same settings. Takes time & not all users (tft restricted) can use 1600+ resolutions!
You are free to submit also other , custom setup results if you posted BASIC preset.
AMD (hackintosh users with non official AMD 6xxx/7xxx) may disable AA*2 to avoid artifacts, as in heaven 4.0.
Results:
Nvidia GT 430, BASIC : 15,2 fps
Bildschirmfoto 2013-02-15 um 23.07.19.jpg 81.66K
79 downloads
EDIT: Some GPUs testet running Windows (test german HW magazine) - preset EXTREME HD
Bildschirmfoto 2013-02-19 um 01.09.47.jpg 142.27K
105 downloads

smallluxGPU 4 alpha - NVIDIA & AMD Tests ended - THANKS
15 January 2013 - 04:15 PM
Hi,
smallluxgpu (SLG) is an OpenCL powered gpu raytraycing used in Luxrender and well known Luxmark.
The devs work on SLG4 and need to know which OS X / GPU combinations work / not work (errors in terminal insted luxball window).
EDIT: AMD OpenCL drivers seems to have an BUG which does overbrighten the result.
EDIT: 18.02. new test version
EDIT: try, new special scenes with slg4 test from post #25
We have collected AMD reports THANKS.
You may check if older, non Fermi gpus work like my 9600GT.

Please test it and report:
1. OS X version, 2. gpu type, 3. speed : xyM samples/sec
how to:
download the zip, unpack it somewhere, start the terminal, cd path_to_main folder_slg4 (hint: type cd SPACE and than drag& drop the folder into the terminal + ENTER),
copy (from Textedit opened Instructions_for_testing.txt the commands into the terminal ENTER
ESC key quits slg.
EDIT: try, new special scenes with slg4 test from post #25
results: mostly gpu speed bound but also cpu speed has an minor effect for speed!

GPU Test 0.4 (FurMark, GiMark,...) ported to OS X! 10.05.
20 November 2012 - 07:39 AM
Hi, someone ported the well known openGL(DirektX) benchmark to OS X OpenGL.
Was updated 10.5. with adding 2 new Benchtypes: PixMark Piano: and PixMark Volplosion and enabled Tesselation bench(Tess may work but in software mode if gpu cant do that in HW)
http://www.geeks3d.c...-os-x/#download
5 benches are available ( one, TessMark needs tesselation = no support on OS X).
9600 GT / 10.8.4 :
Furmark windowed 800x500 : 1888 points (31 FPS)
Pixmark Piano : 4 FPS
PixMark Volplosion : 16 FPS
HAPPY BENCHING
