15 September 2007 - 10:32 PM

searching the web i did not find what i was looking for...

Is there a FTP server (application) that i can run on my mac thats displays as a webpage?
For example i can access this ftp via the internet and logon to via any browser true the internet?

Or are there FTP server that can communicate with an (personal)webpage plugin?

I like to use my Mac as an Virtual NAS for my private network and if i am out i like to get some files via the webpage true the internet

I hope my question is clear enough to get some answers..

Lingon and HellaNZB

04 June 2007 - 02:33 PM

Maybe its a little problem but after 2 days of reading and trying i have to ask you

I used Lingon to add hellanzb.py as a startup application, see my screenshot for the details:
Posted Image

When i reboot the system i can find 2 errors in my logfiles:

Jun 4 16:08:34 maikels-computer launchd[372]: Hellanzb: exited with exit code: 1
Jun 4 16:08:34 maikels-computer launchd[372]: Hellanzb: 9 more failures without living at least 60 seconds will cause job removal

Maybe its not possible to run a Python application like this, but there has to be a working 'trick'

Can someone point me the sollution?

Thanks in advance:

Sweex LW053 USB plug - unplug at reboot FIX

26 May 2007 - 10:57 PM

Hello, i' am new here and want to share a fix for my sweex usb dongle.

I bought a Sweex LW053 Ver 1.0 - RT2571 chipset for my new system because i found this the best price/quality product.
The driver is the one i found via the Wiki Website
Installed, second driver in list: Download the Driver

When i rebooted my system i had to unplug and plug the USB dongle to get on my network/internet

I tried to replace my IONetworkingFamily.kext with a version from 10.4.6 (my system works with 10.4.8)
This would not resolve the issue of unplugging and plugging the dongle.

Just some surfing (thanks to Google) on the net got me to this Website

A german guy called thomsmac solved my problem, on above website is a detailed "problem" and "solution" described

I hope i can help you people out who has having the same problems with the dongle and the USBWirelessUtility.app

My configuration:
Asus P5LD2-VM DH
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4400
1024 MB DDR2-RAM PC6400/DDR800
Pioneer DVDR/RW/DL DVR-112DBK
Western Digital 250GB S-ATA2 WD2500KS 16MB
Sweex Wireless USB adapter 54Mbps LW053
