#1880891 AMD issues with nVidia cards running Lion 64-bits/Mountain Lion [DON'T AS...

In NVDAResman I just removed the cpuids as i couldn't trace the call and check. In libclh I could remove both the cpuid and the check for it. It seems Apple does an extra tamper check, yes... so... what can they check with cpuid? if i understand this correct they can check for everything there... so removing the cpuid doesn't work, but changing what they check could work, or? for example... if cpuid = amd then execute..... so that cpuid is still there and gets a value it is satisfied with.....or? but that's really hard, or? :D

#1880253 Lion kernel testing on AMD (don't ask help here: use the Help Topic)

so, i did a little research and i have an idea. are you really, really sure this is an issue that comes from the opemu or amd specific patches? since lion there are a lot of customers, that are experiencing graphic artifacts on their hardware. yes, apple hardware, not some hackintosh. the problem is a real problem as there are many! people who have this issue. try google for "mountain lion graphic glitches" or something else. you can find videos on youtube and threads like this one. so maybe it's just a fortune that mostly all users here experience those problems. and as i saw that iits has the same problems in lion my opinion on this is tightened. but maybe there is a fix, but i can't try it because i have no windows machine here. in the thread mentioned above look at page 21. scroll down a bit and you see a post by andrew humphreys about changing some clock speed in the gfx bios and reflashig it. maybe someone is willing to test? what do you think guys?

Sometimes the DVI screen turns black at login screen. Plug out and back it in again and it should work. SL 10.6.8: Fully working, followed this guide, thanks akimoa. German only, please ask if you need a translation. ML 10.8.2: How i did it: 1. Setup bootable usb/hard drive/dvd with myhack. 2. Downloaded the latest kernel from here and replaced the one from the ML myhack device with it. Also downloaded System.kext, AppleATIATA-7 from here (without i got the „Still waiting for root device“ error) and...
