Installing Mac on an Asus P8B75-M LE motherboard plus Win 7 Daul boot

23 July 2012 - 08:53 AM

Hello i am an avid Apple fan and I have an iphone 4 and a 2007 macbook pro. I also have a self built pc where I am running windows 7. a week go i went to see my friend and found that he is running both Lion and Windows on his PC and i was so amazed with what you could do. I would like to use the superior processing power and graphics of my self built pc with lion, so I want to dual boot my pc so that I can run it with Windows 7. Lets just say i have tried the method by he who shall not be named and after installing i got a kernal panic when I used his tools to add kexts and failed to reboot after. I also noticed that my motherboard is not listed on any of the DSDT databases but i uderstand that shouldnt be a limitation. So i decided to try myHack the new version. works really well and my graphics card is recognised but it does not recognise the USB 3.0 ports, there is no sound, both the ethernet and wireless card are not recognised and there is an iTunes error (-50) when i run it. I tried using voodoo for sound but still wont work. So now I am in great need of your help I want to do it all over again but with the help of everyone here
The specs of my build are as follows:

-Asus P8B75-M LE Intel B75 chipset (socket 1155) motherboard with:
  • Intel integrated HD graphics
  • 4 USB 2.0 ports
  • 2 USB 3.0 ports
  • Realtek 8111F ethernet
  • VIA VT1708S audio
-Intel i3 2120 3.X GHZ processor

-4GB corsair RAM

-NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti

-500GB western digital Caviar blue Hard drive

-D-link DWA 525 (wireless N-150 desktop adapter)

So simply put my objectives are
  • install Mac OSX Lion and windows 7 allowing for dual booting (Hard drive is partitioned and win 7 Already working)
  • Mac OSX to run like an iMac
  • full functionality of all components especially the graphics card, wifi  and sound
  • no application issues
  • A hell of alot of fun running Mac on PC
Help me build my Hackintosh
