Yes. But even after that it still crashes when ever i watch videos or listen to music. I know it isn't my hardware not being good enough. I have a quad core and 8 gigs of ram so it's not like it's running out of memory.

just tape Kernel for 10.6.8 Intel/AMD  and you'll see it.   :)

Alright I've installed 10.6.8 and the kernel and I still get crashes. I've narrowed it down. It almost always happens when watching youtube videos. or anything using flashplayer.

Is it just that video or is it in all videos? If in all then it's probably a corrupt driver or your gpu is dying.

If your motherboard doesn't have AHCI then it probably isn't supported. Although, You could try opening up your computer unplug the sata cable and when you get to the bootloader plug it in. That worked for me a when i got this error.
