Sound crackles and pops on both internal and USB sound devices

Hi,

I have a HP DC7800p running 10.7.4 and notice that when doing any kind of sound playback in logic i get crackles and pops in the audio.  I have tried using the onboard soundcard and an external Sweex 7.1 USB however it still does it,   I am using VoodooHDA kext.  Is this because I need a DSDT file for my PC? really would appreciate some help on this one as its driving me nuts :wallbash:

Does anyone have a DSDT file for a HP DC 7800p SFF

Hi,

I have got Lion running on my HP DC 7800p SFF however the only thing that does not appear to work is ls sleep, the screen goes black however the power light stays lit and I can then not resume without powering the PC off.  Does anyone have a DSDT for this PC they would be willing to let me have, I am new to all of this so if I need to provide more info please let me know.
