Boot into windows and run a diskcheck.

Your NTFS partition has errors.

You can even give Disk Utility a go. These errors are common with Paragon NTFS(maybe even NTFS-3G).

Thanks U.C. I did a "chkdsk /f" on CMD as administrator and worked! now my trash is ok!

Thanks! Nice guide. I use it and works well but I still having problems with sleep. Have you installed Snow Leopard on your Dv2550se? I'll try to do it but if you know an effective method to install Snow please tell us your experience.

Thanks! I'll wait for your response.

Hi, I have a question, if I do the crossflash to my P5kc, my motherboard will be different? It's possible to install Snow Leopard on P5kc without crossflashing?

Thanks!! :P

Hi, to make easier the installation of Snow Leopard for P5kc owners can you tell what's the method that you used to install it correctly? Because I know that many of us are having Kernel Panics after installation.

I couldn't create a new topic because I'm a new member. That's why I decided to post a P5KC Guide to 10.5.7 Leopard iATKOS v7 installation here. Hope you won't mind.

GUIDE (or maybe I should say, the thing that worked for me)

As I successfully managed to install Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 on my HP 550 laptop, I figured out that it could work with my desktop computer as well (Dual boot with window 7, of course). Hope the information found here will be able to help someone.
Here are my specs:
-MAINBOARD: Asus P5KC
-CPU: Intel Quad Processor Q6600
-MEMORY: GEIL 2x1GB DDR2 800MHZ Dual-Channel

-OPTICAL DRIVE: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-112D ATA Device

-AUDIO: Integrated audio
-GRAPHIC: Gainward GTX 260 216sp (works with QE/CI)
-DISPLAY: Samsung SyncMaster 223BW

-HARD DISK: WDC WD3200AAKS, SATA II

-WI-FI: TL-WN321G (USB, TP-Link)

-ETHERNET: Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet

What was used:
1) iATKOS v7 DVD
2) Atheros L1 Ethernet driver (it can be found on the internet, I used one from iPC 10.5.6 DVD)
4) Windows 7 DVD if you want Dual boot (I will not be explaining the dual boot procedure, just the installation process for Leopard)

Installation Process:
1) Boot from iAtkos v7 DVD
2) Using disk utility format the partition that you will be using for Leopard installation Mac OS Extended (Journaled) / HFS+)
3) Choose these options when customizing the installation (in the end, I realized that I am unsure if I checked some of these options or not): See the picture in the attachment (Installation.jpg)

4) Et Voilà. Note: Pioneer DVD is the only component that doesn’t work.
5) If you want to update to 10.5.8 you will need to boot from iATKOS v7 DVD again after restart and to select just the drivers. (you can find the details about the updating process by searching through insanelymac, for instance THIS LINK - of course, you will need to use different drivers than the ones described in this article)

After explaining the whole process I will describe ISSUES I had to overcome:
1) Firewire ISSUE (After disabling firewire, second issue came up)
2) Still waiting for root device ISSUE
Both ISSUES were solved by using Intel SATA/IDE found on iATKOS v7 DVD (if you followed the installation process you have already installed it)

THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME. DON'T TRY ANY OF THIS IF YOU'RE NOT SURE ABOUT WHAT ARE YOU DOING :D
I Wish you Luck, because that is exactly what you need when trying to run this thing!
Whatever happens, don't end up like this  or this  and certainly not like this

Take Care.

Thank you, It works for me. Very good guide. All is working including my DVD burner IDE With Iatkos v7 Jmicron patch. The network needs AttansicL1Ethernet.kext
