:)

Quelques tests

I finally managed to install my HD 7950/3072 on OS X 10.8.3 ML, there are many identical bug to HD 5450 512, dual DVI is not supported, I is not tested other ports.

The CPU works fine but I would recommend a HD 48xx graphics card which bugs are small.

some tests

For getting the other ports working you need to make a custom framebuffer graphics port.
Look into the Clover thread to see how this is done with ATI cards ;)

Well, Andy: that's why i always recommend Gigabyte UEFI: it almost seems that Gigabyte engineers are fond of a little hackintoshing.

That said, can you post pics of your BIOS settings? Since legacy boot is working from USB, it really should work from HDD too: it has to be some overlooked detail. Or else, you must perhaps update your BIOS: what revision is it?

All the best!
I'll post a pic later.
It's the stock UEFI BIOS version of the board.
I'm not at home right now so I can't quickly snap one... ;)

I have a little issue.
I bought myself a new computer (with an Asus P8H77-M LE motherboard).
Using legacy boot on SATA HD I always get boot0ss / boot0af error.
However I can boot fine using an USB stick in legacy.
Guess I'll have to use UEFI boot unless somebody has another solution for me.
I even tried manually installing the boot sectors (MBR+PBR), no use.

MacBookPro10,1 has HD4000, no?
Oops... you're right.
Had them confused.
It's an earlier model I mean...

It is SandyBridge and deviceID=0x106. It is definitely HD3000

I see you set VRAM=64Mb. It is not sufficient to have acceleration in MacOSX. Look you setting in BIOS to increase this value.
Not sure if config.plist may help here.
The key AAPL,ig-platform-id needs to be injected for HD3000 graphics acceleration to work.
Look in an ioreg from a MacBookPro10,1 for mobile...
