Why isn't my nVidia GeForce 7300 LE working?

I installed the Leopard4All 10.5.2 version with the nVinject 128mb option selected and I've still not got any other graphic options excluding the resolution option for 1024x768. QE is not working either.

I'm curious as to if I was supposed to also check the box for the kexts for 6xxx/7xxx/8xxx cards as well as teh nvinject option?

I don't want to have to reformat and reinstall leopard so how can I fix this? If I have to reformat I will but I'd much rather not...

Also, if anyone wants to help me figure out why my audio isn't working? I've got a Dell Dimension E521 with the motherboard at the default, no upgrades to it so it's got the stock audio driver. I don't remember off of the top of my head which one it is so I chose the ALC97 (probably wrong about that, but last option in the audio drivers) as my audio driver because that's which one I believed it to be and i'm still getting no sound?

Thanks Insanely Mac!

Sorry, can't help you out. I got the same card. I do know I used "Nvida Installer V2.0" and it locked up on the reboot at a black screen and the cursor.

So I rebooted with the -x option into safe mode. I removed some kexts files. Not sure which ones but I got "Natit.kext" and "NVinject" in my trash can.

I noticed in safe mode that I had many options for display resolutions rather then the 1024x768 that I have with no drivers loaded.

Also in safemode the correct graphics card would list in "system Profiler" with the correct amount of memory listed.

I dont know what I am doing wrong, but I have tried for weeks to get the graphics card working.

I am going to buy a new card as I think the Geforce 7300gt does not support Quartz extreme.

Please someone prove me wrong!

sent him a message and

i found the kext that i need for my audio but i'm still a noob and i don't know how i would go about installing it

just double click on it and it will extract the files, once file is extrated there should be another file with a cartoon like icon, just double click that and reboot, you will get audio

hey there guys, let me say the first thing to try if after you have the misfortune of installing the wrong drivers for this card (since i Have one also) is wait for 3 minutes (maybe one minute but it seems like two or three) and ur screen will come on........

My card was fully working under 10.5.1 with the Kalyway from the bays where pirates are known to frequent :P (ya never know who's listening, but one good thing is that you know know that not too many people are listening around here when it comes to helping on the boards - maybe it's more of a PM thing around here)

So once the update is installed from .1 to .2 the one from that bay - I also get the black screen but my VGA monitor comes on after some time.... so please keep this thread alive and post all of ur valued information once you have ur thang working....(and the working files)

My logs tell (check urs) me that the profile (I don't have it here so it's from memory) was found twice so it eventually reverts back to the default one and WHAMO it's on

I also get the exact same effects when I do this with my 8600GT but so far when i have posted I have received few replies........

Hope this helps -
