ND595 Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 I've got running Kalyway 10.5.1 updated to 10.5.2 on Gigabyte 965P-DS3 rev.1 motherboard with ATI X1800 256V, video card. After several attempts and trying different methods described in this forum, I managed to get either QE/CI working but maximum resolution 2048x1536, or no QE/CI and full resolution (display is Apple 30" Cinema Display 2560x1600). In other words, if I remove ATIRadeonX1000.kext from Extensions folder, it is full res and no QE/CI; if I put it there with proper Terminal manipulations - QE and CI but no full res. Video card ID is 0x7109. So - a question to gurus who understand Mac much better than I will ever have : what has to be modified in ATIRadeonX1000.kext in order to get QE and CI and full display resolution?
