SAS Hard Drive Performance

I'm trying to decide if I should install an SAS subsystem in my Hack since there are some good deals on eBay right

now on controllers & HDDs.

The only thing that's holding me back is this review:

I know there are a few people here using SAS drives with there Hacks.

 

Can you provide Benchmarks along with your setup details? (Controller & Drives used)
