Mac Boy
For ATI try the Callisto drivers. For Nvidia the Titan (or Natit) drivers are usually flawless.

XanthraX
tested it and it all worked fine, thanks this has to be the ultimate tiger release ever. Downside.. you really have to know what you're doing ( the complexity is amazing )Thanks How did you resolve the "still waiting for root device"? Anyway, I need help in installing my Geforce 4 Ti 4600 128mb 4x AGP card. What options should I choose over the selected items? AGPGart what version? Natit, titan, etc? Thank you. I manage to install from the dvd but osx won't boot after reboot it just hangs, anyone had any luck with this release on an 8100? i have tried 3 installs of blackh 10.4.11 with different settings. I have succesfully installed 10.4.3 (with jas patch) and 10.4.6 (jas) on this machine but no luck with any leopard releases i have tried. Any help appreciated. Macnisphere
After 5 more attempts experimenting with different kexts/patches/drivers it seems to find graphics, lan, dvd, ide, chipset & usb during boot but stops saying no airport driver found and hangs, any suggestions? Looks like one of the best distros but maybe too ambitious for a dell 8100? might go back to jas 10.4.6 does anyone know if i can use an updater with jas 10.4.6? Mac Boy
So, if almost everything is detected, it looks like you're there. Maybe you could disable your wireless card via the BIOS, or remove it temporarily just to see if the install completes.
