Leopard/ vista start up question

ive had vista and leopard in a dual boot for quite some time now and its working great. I guess over time i got more greedy for perfection because i want to fix one thing about the way it starts up. I used the Chain0 method to do my dual boot, but when i pick mac osx on the dual boot screen i have to hit any key at the timer, select my mac partition and then it starts up. if i dont it just goes back to the dual boot screen. Is there any way to get around this? i guess i would need to set the partition as the default one for mac osx but i dont know how.
