Urbz
I washed out a screw by accident. It holds the ram-wireless cover for my laptop. I'm in trouble... any suggestions?
Hagar
try a bigger screw with a coarser thread? if youre handy, you could re-tap the thread to a larger size.... or you could just gaffa-tape (duct-tape) the cover in place
Metrogirl
I like Hagar's suggestions! That's what I'd probably do too. (Screws, not the tape!) But if you want to stay original, you can get screws (or for that matter any hardware part for any reasonably current Mac) from these guys: iFixit.com Now you don't need to panic! (but you might need a fat wallet to afford their prices :pirate2: )
ampTK
Did you solve it? Cause I have a solution that works very well
kday
duct-tape might look sweet. You can start a new trend!
Mr. Bond
duct-tape might look sweet. You can start a new trend! My friend did that. Rather, he made himself a wallet out of duct tape, which ended up being pretty popular. He ended up making a whole bunch more for people. Or, just use some good 'ol scotch tape. A couple pieces should hold it in place, plus it's invisible! Or just wander your local hardware store until you find a close enough screw.
