Anyways, I solved this problem by getting one from the US and unlocking it....problem solved! Too bad lots of people in Canada have no idea how to do that! My plan was to wait for the second generation to come out and go down south to get one and unlock it. Will the new one actually be much better, and will it cost much more? Berzerker Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 From looking at the newer rumors and that someone has supposedly released a case for the new one, since it looks bigger and it the new firmware says that 3G will lower your iPhone's battery life makes me completely turned off from the new one. They're not going to make a crappy version of what they are selling 20,000 units a day. Also, I think the price will be a bit lower than the old $599 iPhone. Why?
