jungledrew64
Before everyone yells at me, Yes I read all the guides I could find and even crashed OSX86 twice trying some methods. All the methods I have found involve editing the Info.plist file in IO80211Family.kext. In the Info.plist file my card is listed by default, Broadcom 4311, so I believe this means that it is supported by default, but seeing as I am new to Mac I'm not sure. I added chipset to the bottom of the list regardless and still nothing. I have WiFi in Ubuntu and Vista. I was hoping someone might be able to point me to an accurate guide that I haven't found yet or to explain why if my card is supported by default why it doesn't work? Could you maybe tell us what you are working with......like oh say some spec, or even type of computer? You will get more help that way.....I have a 4311 working great. jungledrew64
Sorry for the late reply... I have a compaq C306US laptop with Broadcom 4311 wifi. I am tripple booting Vista, OSX86, and Ubuntu. I'm not sure what other info could be useful so if you need specifics please ask and I will post. WiFi works great in Vista and Ubuntu, but nothing I try works in OSX86. OSX86 works great though ethernet.

jungledrew64
Hey everyone, I know I have been gone for a while, but i've been watching the message boards and still no solutions. My last try to fix the problem crashed leopard again... Anyway I think it is PCI-E and if anyone could write a driver or tell me how (I am a Comp Sci major at pitt and have programming experience, just not with drivers and no Mac experience) I would appreciate it... Good luck everyone and if I get anywhere I'll let you know. P.S. I am taking a course in Linux drivers this summer so hopefully by August I will be able to write drivers...
