true_atlantis
I just installed nVInject via the nVInstaller GUI in order to try and increase my resolution... After installing I tried rebooting, I can't see the full error, but what I can see is: Backtrace terminated - invalid frame pointer 0 Kernel loadable modules in backtrace(with dependencies): com.apple.GeForce(5.2.6)@0x2168c000->0x21712fff dependency: com.apple.NVDAResman blah..blah..blah Anyways - I have hope because it does boot and work correctly in safe boot. Anyone seen this problem before? Thanks for the help.
Wacko160
I have the exact same problem. However, after deleting NVDAResman from the Extensions folder, my system boots again, be it in 1024x768. And indeed, safe mode (-x) works fine. Edit: My GFX card is a 7600Go 256MB
true_atlantis
I am using nVidia GeForce 6600GT... So strange... There has to be a tweak to fix it - it works in safe boot!
amp3d
I got the same problem. Safe boot works fine, but anything else gives me a kernel panic, same errors as you guys with the nvidia stuff. I have a 8700m gt 256mb
Wacko160
Still nobody has found a solution? Or a way to revert changes, and make it use the driver it uses in safe mode?
