mindfuse
Hi,I've gone through a number of issues, but have worked them all out but this. I have tried NVinject but it didn't work. Same with a few others. I tried the macvidia driver..and oddly enough, it seemed to work. However, it acted like I had a dual display..and my mouse would cross the screen twice, like it went through two monitors (hard to explain..it was weird). With that, I still couldn't change my resolution from 1024x768 . Everything on this resolution looks huge (finder..the dock, etc), and I'd really like to be able to change it to 1280x1024. Can someone help me? Even if I can't get the nv drivers installed (but I'd really like to), is there a file I can edit or something to change my resolution? It's driving me crazy. I have an onboard Nvidia Geforce 6150.Please help if you can. Thanks! -edit Sorry about the double threads..I had some lag ;(
Software Updater
When you install partition your hard drive as GUID (I think that is the one for intel macs.) Whenever I partition as MBR I got stuck at "Waiting for Root Device". -Software Updater

Termite
hey i have the same problem but i have done a diagnostic and i have found out the reason why you cant change it, its because its your graphics card problems or the graphic card itself i am still trying to find a solution ill get back to you about what to do
nigelbb
You cannot change the resolution of Nvidia 6150 onboard graphics from 1024x768. There is no QE/CI either. It's basically because it uses shared system memory & there is no graphics for a real Mac that is anything like it. The best bet is to buy a cheap supported graphics card. Check the HCL for a suitable card http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
c_c
Well, to get resolution change on this video adaptor do the following :- GeForce Go 6100 / 6150 - Managed to get it working at 1280x800 [credit goes to andy.karpov] (Delete/Move Geforce*.kext, NV*.kext. Install MacVidia 1.0.81; don't restart; open terminal; type 'sudo mkdir/NVBackup' type 'sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/NV*.bundle /NVBackup' then type 'sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/NV*.plugin /NVBackup' restart - open display properties and get 1280x800. Zythyr
Is there a working link for MacVidia? I couldn't find any working download links. I have a GeForce 7150M card, which is also a shared memory graphics card. I am trying to change the resolution but its not work.
